In 1976 the Kansas City Scouts NHL franchise moved to Denver, Colorado where they became the Colorado Rockies.
Fan attendance for the Rockies was less than expected and the franchise was bought-out and transferred to New Jersey where they became the Devils.
While in Colorado the Rockies made the play-offs once in their six-year existence. The Rockies continue to have a loyal fan following from the 1970s. Despite leaving Denver in 1982, the Rockies paved the way for a successful Colorado Avalanche team in later years.
The Colorado Rockies played their home games at McNichols Arena which seated 16,061. Jerseys are fully embroidered. Customized jerseys may be ordered with any name or number combination.
